DTM 1302. Electrical/Electronic Systems
This course teaches basic electricity, magnetism, and circuitry as they pertain to diesel equipment. The course covers batteries, charging, starting, and accessory circuits with emphasis on testing, maintenance, and repair. The electronic systems of Peek, Pace and D-Deck II are studied. Safety and special tools are emphasized. 1 lecture hour, 2 lab hours. (2 credit hours/special course fee)
