Description

BIOL 1303. Structure and Function of the Human Body
This course is a one-semester survey of the structure and function of the twelve organ systems of the human body and how they work together to maintain homeostasis. Prior knowledge of general cellular biology is expected. This course is designed for Allied Health and non-majors and may not be used as credit for, or taken after completion of BIOL 1304/1104 or BIOL 1305/1105. This course may not be used to fulfill prerequisites requirements for any BIOL course except for BIOL 1104/1304. 3 lecture hours. (3 credit hours/special course fee)

Prerequisites: (must meet all of the following requirements)
†A score of 19 or above on the English section of the ACT, or a score of 83 or above on the Accuplacer Sentence Skills test, or a score of 80 or above on the COMPASS Writing Placement test, or completion of ENGL 0111 (Composition Review) with a grade of “C†or better.
†A score of 19 or above on the Reading section of the ACT
