Earlier this year, there were rumors that Spider-Man from the first two editions starring Tobey Maguire from the 2002-2007 trilogy and Andrew Garfield from The Amazing Spider-Man from 2012-2014 will be returning with Tom Holland's Spider-Man 3 will include a black actor playing Miles Morales, a character from the comic and successful animation Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) across the universe. The grand opening met, ET Canada contacted Sony Pictures about the rumors, and the studio denied that. There is no confirmation that this will actually happen. But it's not denying that it won't happen.
