Description
This course is a scientific study of the principles of botany that provides the foundation for other advanced
courses in the biological sciences. It includes an in-depth study of the properties, structure and function,
growth and classifications of plants. Concepts of plant reproduction, photosynthesis, ecology and genetics
are included. This course is appropriate for biology majors. Prerequisite: BIOL 1401 with a grade of ???C???
or better. 3 lecture hours, 3 lab hours. (4 credit hours/special course fee)
