Description

BIOL 2302. General Botany ACTS # BIOL 1034
This course is a scientific study of the principles of botany that provides the foundation for other advanced courses in the biological sciences. It includes an in-depth study of the properties, structure and function, growth, and classifications of plants. Concepts of plant reproduction, photosynthesis, ecology, and genetics are included. This course is appropriate for biology majors. 3 lecture hours. (3 credit hours/special course fee). Prerequisite: BIOL 1302/1102 with a grade of “C†or better.
