Description

This course is the first semester of a two-semester study of the structure and functions of the organ systems
of the human body and how they work together to maintain homeostasis. This course is designed for
majors in health profession programs. Prerequisite: a) completion of BIOL 1401 with a grade of ???C???
or better or b) completion of high school AP/IB Biology with an A or B, completion/testing out of all
developmental education classes, and permission of the Department Chair. 3 lecture hours, 2 lab hours. (4
credit hours/special course fee) (H)
